• When will the new Blender-aid version be released?

Probably at the end of 2010. Really pending on reaction and support we get from the community

• I have no permission to download from google, how can I get the software

• I use Windows and the system does not work out of the box

see http://blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?t=178393. The system stores some things on the local drive for performance in a file. Default the file will be stored in c:\temp. When this folder does not exists it will fail. The solution is to create this folder. If needed the location can be changed in settings.py.

• Blender-aid does not show all my production files

The system is build to show only files it knows how to handle. At this moment these are (jpeg, tga, gif, png and exr) images and blend files. if other files are needed, please let us know so we can add them.

• We use Blender 2.5 trunk. Blender-aid does not work with it. Why?

During the development of Blender 2.5 there was a period (Februari-March 2010) that blender created corrupted files. These were read oke by Blender, but not by Blender-aid. To solve this you need to load and re-save these specific blend files. This issue has also been solved in the Blender-aid trunk.
